Tekova wasn’t started in a boardroom.

It started from muddy sidelines, early kick-offs, and weekends spent around football.

I’m George – a player, coach, and father of 3 young footballers.

After over 30 years around the game, i got sick of seeing how expensive it was becoming just to play – especially for families with kids in football.

Seeing families struggle to keep their kids in the sport didn’t sit right with me, so my family decided to do something about it and there Tekova was born.

WHY TEKOVA EXISTS

  • Football gear was getting overpriced
  • Parents like us were paying more every season for basic gear
  • Kids just wanted gear that worked -without the bulk or hype

Tekova is family-run and built around grassroots football.

Between us, we’re involved in:

  • Junior football
  • Youth development
  • Women’s football ( both myself and partner coach a women’s team each)
  • Local clubs and community teams
  • Keira coaching the women’s team

We believe:

  • Families shouldn’t be stretched just to buy basic gear
  • Gear should be comfortable, functional and honest
  • No kid should be priced out of football essentials

Tekova was made for us all, we have players playing U7s at the gold coast, Over 45s still kitting up, to U23s Australian players playing overseas. If you love the game -rain, hail, or shine -you’re one of us.
